More information about the Alabama Crimson Tide was revealed on yet another steamy morning in Tuscaloosa. Despite being labeled as “means little yet,” Kadyn Proctor was practicing left tackle for the starting offensive line. Proctor has partially changed his physique, which is one reason to anticipate him to start all season. His speed and balance have increased. His strength was never in dispute, but it has undoubtedly increased as well.

Following the practice, Kalen DeBoer emphasized that Proctor’s starting position will not be much altered for the time being because players, notably the tackles, are rotating.

Zabien Brown was observed at practice with a minor cast on his hand and wrist. According to DeBoer, Brown won’t be significantly hampered by the small injury for a few days. “He just doesn’t feel like a freshman out there,” DeBoer continued, speaking more about the rookie cornerback. I already have a lot of faith in him. Though it’s up to the fans to interpret the compliments, it seems likely that Brown will start the season strong.

When asked which position group had performed the best during the first four days of Fall Camp, Deboer consistently said that the defensive line. When questioned about the team’s progress in the spring and summer, DeBoer had acknowledged that the offensive line was leading the way.

Four practice days and the coaches’ remarks suggest that Keon Sabb and DeVonta Smith will start in the secondary with Malachi Moore, though starter predictions are still premature. Kane Wommack called Sabb “a very special talent” on Saturday. For what seems like the first time in his Crimson Tiude career, DeVonta is said to be 100% healthy. Smith will start at Husky, while Moore and Sabb should be the starting safeties.
