ATLANTA: Dominick Barlow, a forward, has signed a two-way deal with the Atlanta Hawks, the organization announced Monday. The specifics of the arrangement were kept confidential per team policy.

During the 2023–24 San Antonio season, Barlow played in 33 games (one start), averaging 4.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 12.7 minutes (.496 FG%,.333 3FG%,.690 FT%). In a victory over the Golden State Warriors on March 9, he recorded a season-high 19 points on 7–10 shooting from the field, along with 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block in 30 minutes.

During the summer, he participated in six games with the Spurs (two in the California Classic and four in the NBA 2K25 Summer League). In 26.2 minutes of play, he averaged 15.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.7 blocks (.612 FG%).

The 6-9 forward was not selected in the 2022 NBA Draft, therefore the Spurs first signed him to a two-way deal. Before the 2023–24 season began, San Antonio signed him to a second two-way deal. On March 2, 2024, the contract was converted to a regular NBA contract.

In 61 games (one start) throughout his two NBA seasons, Barlow has averaged 4.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assist in 13.6 minutes (.513 FG%,.701 FT%).

On April 9, 2023, in a victory over Dallas, the Dumont, New Jersey, native produced a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds during his rookie year. He became only the sixth rookie in San Antonio history to record at least 20 points and 15 rebounds in a single game with his 21-point, 19-rebound effort.

In 53 career NBA G League games (43 starts), Barlow has also made an appearance. In 29.1 minutes of action, he has averaged 16.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks (.560 FG%,.726 FT%).

Barlow played in the Overtime Elite League with Team Overtime before to joining the NBA, where he averaged 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 25.2 minutes. He made his NBA debut on November 2, 2022, against the Toronto Raptors, making history as the first Overtime Elite player to play in an NBA game.
