Breaking: Amidst chaos, Philadelphia Phillies star player officially dismissed and announced shocking decision to stay on the board

Alec Bohm, an All-Star third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies, was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Friday because of a strain in his left hand.

On August 29, during the Phillies’ game against the Atlanta Braves, Bohm hurt his hand while swinging. He stayed with the group in the hopes of getting better soon. He didn’t recuperate as anticipated, though, so the Phillies had to remove him from the active roster.

As long as they desired to be without an additional player on the bench, that was their decision. Bohm stated on Friday, “I don’t want to be harming everyone by making them unable to participate. “We have a man on the bench, and if something untoward occurs, we won’t have any more guys.”

As recently as Thursday, when the Phillies began a four-game series against the Marlins in Miami, Bohm did defensive drills and dry swings. It was obvious that Bohm couldn’t last with the squad since he couldn’t advance to hitting a baseball.

“Until I can hit, it’s pretty useless at that point,” Bohm remarked. “I kind of reached a point where I could no longer swing.”

Bohm said he lost sixteen days in 2021 due to discomfort comparable to this one. He said the agony felt like someone smashed a hammer into his hand.

“We’ll just do everything we can to make it stronger and do as much as we can without causing pain,” Bohm stated. “Give it some time to relax and heal so that it’s ready when it is.”

The 28-year-old Bohm was enjoying a fantastic season before to his injury, and as of Friday, he had helped the Phillies take an eight-game lead in the NL East.

Bohm is batting.290 and has 89 RBIs, which ties him for fifth place in the National League with teammate Kyle Schwarber. In addition, he was chosen to start at third base for the National League in this year’s All-Star Game.
