It’s official—Caitlin Clark is a proud girlfriend.
This week, the standout player for the Indiana Fever, Clark, took to her Instagram Story to congratulate her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, on his recent promotion to the NBA. McCaffery just received official employment as Butler University’s men’s basketball assistant coach.
“Hooray!” very thrilled for you,” Clark responded, adding a love emoji.
While both McCaffery, 26, and Clark, 22, were students at the University of Iowa, they first became friends. While McCaffery, the son of Iowa men’s basketball head coach Fran McCaffery, played both baseball and basketball at the institution, Clark was a standout player for the Iowa women’s basketball team.
McCaffery has been dating Clark since at least 2023. He previously worked as an assistant coach for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers during the previous season. Here are a few of the pictures the couple has posted of themselves.
