Amid West Brom’s triumph, Tom Fellows reveals something about Carlos Corberan.
Tom Fellows has disclosed Carlos Corberan’s impact on West Bromwich Albion’s successful 2024–25 campaign debut.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Fellows feels that a major factor in Albion’s success this season has been the depth of information Corberan provides to his players.

Since his 2021–2022 promotion campaign at Huddersfield Town, Corberan has garnered a lot of praise; he has also shown promise at The Hawthorns.

After losing heartbreakingly in the play-off semi-final last season, it was unknown how the Baggies would bounce back, but they have had an incredible season thus far.

They have only lost to Leeds United thus far this season, drawing with a team that will probably be in the running for promotion come playoff time.

The last five league games have been victories for them; their most recent triumph came at home against Plymouth Argyle by a close margin.

That outcome may not seem great on paper, but at the end of the season, points are what count, and the Baggies are now on track to finish in the top six once more.

Even though the season is still very early, they appear to have enough potential to imply that, with some of its key players stepping up to the plate, they will once again be a formidable force in 2024–2025.

Josh Maja, who has been in fantastic goal-scoring form since the beginning of the season, has also excelled along with Fellows.

Tom Fellows highlights a crucial factor in West Brom’s success.

Albion’s success has been aided by Maja’s valiant efforts, but Fellows has also given head coach Corberan credit, stating that his attention to detail has been crucial to the team’s early-season success.

“Obviously, I’m really thankful for the chance to play and to prove I can perform at this level,” he said to Sky Sports. “He gave me my opportunity.”

“He has greatly aided me. It takes some getting accustomed to because there is a lot of information and depth, but eventually you adjust.

After a while, you realize that it would be harder, you know, if you didn’t have that kind of information. That explains why the squad is performing so well right now.

Carlos Corberan is a coach who certainly has the ability to manage at a higher level, thus West Brom has to hold onto him.

If he isn’t plucked before the end of the season, he might lead Albion to the Premier League, thus the Baggies should be doing all in their power to hold onto him.

Albion should be cautious because clubs in the lower echelons of the English top flight will undoubtedly consider him if they fire their manager.

It will be crucial to provide him with the appropriate players and working environment to keep him happy, and he appears to have both.

Although their ownership shift may increase their prospects of keeping him long term, it might not be long before clubs begin to show interest in him.
