A lot of things have been swirling out there ever since Davante Adams requested out of Las Vegas. The NFL’s all-time best receiver is looking for a new place to call home where he can thrive. According to latest sources, Adams may find a new home soon as both the Raiders and the great receiver want this to complete as soon as possible.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini indicated that this may be completed in the next few days.

“As far as the Raiders and the receiver are concerned, they want him to have a new home sometime in the next 48 hours,” Russini said.

That would make sense, even if it would be a rapid turnaround. It’s preferable if they quickly reach a divorce settlement since the connection between the team and the athlete is poisonous.

It’s been reported that a few suitors are interested in signing Adams. Before the trade deadline expires, everyone in Pittsburgh wants Adams, or at the absolute least, an improvement at the receiver position. The Steelers need a top receiver to join their offense if they are to succeed this season, especially in light of their most recent loss to the Cowboys. With so many other teams fighting for his job, it will be difficult.

The Steelers and other clubs are undervaluing Adams in the trade talks.

For any club engaged in discussions, adding Adams in a trade could not be the simplest financial scenario. Most people could manage his cap hit for the current season, but his cap predicament will skyrocket throughout this summer. Before adding Adams to a trade, some may choose to negotiate a new contract with him. Certain teams that are in contention may find the debate difficult.

Adams’s possible financial issue may be lowering the asking price. It’s possible the Raiders won’t get their desired price. NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports, “Sources say the Raiders have been looking for a deal involving Davante Adams that would include a second-round selection and an additional pick. As of right now, I don’t feel that any club has even remotely met that asking price.”

Teams may be scared off by Adams’s cap cost. It may also be the reason why teams are now undervaluing the Raiders. that seems improbable that Las Vegas will obtain what is deemed “fair value” in return, whatever that may be. The Steelers ought to go after Adams and attempt to work out a deal. It might be reasonably priced. While Pittsburgh has its share of issues, Adams might be able to address some of them.

For those who have been living under a rock, a few teams are thought to be contenders for Adams. Ravens, Saints, Bills, Jets, and Steelers are just a few of the teams that may play. We are aware that Pittsburgh has communicated with Las Vegas and that they have made a purportedly “aggressive offer” to acquire Adams.

It appears that a deal ought to take place shortly. Hopefully, fans aren’t disappointed this time around.
