November will see 2024 Rookie of the Year (opens in a new tab) Caitlin Clark play in a Pro-Am golf event. It seems that Clark is not content with being one of the dominant powers in the WNBA.
From November 11–17, the Indiana Fever star will play in The Annika, the last event on the LPGA Tour, which is hosted by golf great Annika Sörenstam.

The 22-year-old stated in a release that “I love golf, so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sörenstam’s name on it is so exciting”(opens in a new tab). “I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, teeing it up in the pro-am with Annika.”
Clark has participated in a Pro-Am tournament at the John Deere Classic in July 2023 alongside US Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson and Ludvig Ã…berg, so this won’t be her first time trying her hand at the sport. That day, Clark and her team finished five points under par (opens in a new tab).
The rookie in the WNBA recently finished an incredible season. Clark surpassed the records for the most assists in a single season (337) and the most three-pointers made by a rookie (122), having been chosen by the Fever with the first overall choice in the 2024 draft.
For the first time in eight years, the Fever qualified for the postseason thanks to Clark’s efforts; nevertheless, they were defeated by the Connecticut Sun in the opening round.
“I have been following Caitlin’s career during college and now on the WNBA stage, and what she is doing to bring attention to women’s sports both on and off the court is outstanding,” stated Sörenstam.
“I’m excited to meet Caitlin and for her to join us at Pelican Golf Club in November in what will be an exciting week for women’s sports.”
In addition to participating in the Pro-Am competition on November 13, Clark will be a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit, which is being held in Florida, the day before.
