Bailey Cadamarteri, 19, has had difficulty getting into the game while on loan from Sheffield Wednesday at Lincoln City.
After making an impression in the academy, Cadamarteri made his debut in the Owls’ first team last season. However, his first loan stint with Lincoln hasn’t gone as planned thus far.
The 19-year-old striker has only made two starts in six appearances in the third division with the Imps, despite his potential, and Wednesday may start to wonder if they want him to stay with the League One team.
This January, Danny Rohl will have to decide whether to keep him at Lincoln in the hopes that he regains his form or to support his return to his parent club on Wednesday.
Perhaps a return for Cadamarteri is the wisest course of action given the Yorkshire team’s current goal-scoring difficulties.
Wednesday urges Lincoln to start games instead of Cadamarteri.
