MOHAVE VALLEY On Thursday, a guy who had been rescued from a fire that eventually burned two buildings in Mohave Valley was airlifted to Las Vegas.
A house in the 7900 block of Meadowlark Street was reported to have caught fire at around 4 p.m. on October 10. When firemen came, the entire house was completely consumed.
The homeowner was able to save his dog from the fire, and the homeowner was saved from the fire by neighbors, according to Ted Martin, chief of the Mohave Valley Fire Department. But the homeowner was burned and had to be transported to a hospital in Las Vegas.
A mobile house to the north of the land was eventually destroyed by the fire. The outside of two garages to the west and a house to the south of the fire both sustained minor damage. Additionally, the original home was demolished.
Martin told the Daily News that a large quantity of flammable objects surrounding the house made combating the fire more difficult and contributed to the fire’s intensity.
Additionally, the fire department was unable to utilize its main port due to a small problem with a hydrant. There was a little delay in firefighting efforts since the auxiliary port was utilized instead, which results in less water being produced from the hydrant.
Although the exact source of the fire is unknown, it could have begun from objects like an electric bike or barbecue that were kept outside the house.
