After missing Week 6, Commanders’ Brian Robinson Jr. is “trending in the right direction.”
Before facing the Carolina Panthers in Week 7, the Washington Commanders offense, which has been among the most effective in the NFL thus far this season, seems to be getting a big lift. The reason for this is that they got a fantastic injury report on running back Brian Robinson Jr., who suffered a knee injury and missed their Week 6 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens.
Washington’s ability to move the ball with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels behind center has tremendously aided Robinson, who had a solid start to the season as the team’s undisputed number one running back (73 CAR, 325 YDS, 5 TD, 8 REC, 68 YDS). According to rumors, Robinson is leaning toward playing against the Panthers in Week 7 after missing last week’s game.

Austin Ekeler is also a member of Washington’s backfield, but thus far, he has only been used as a receiving back, with Robinson doing the majority of the groundwork. Daniels has benefited greatly from the two as he transitions to the NFL, and they will both undoubtedly be hoping for huge games against the Panthers’ vulnerable defense.
You can never be sure a player will play until they are on the field, and Robinson is no exception. This is what happens with these injuries. Even while everything appears to be moving in the right direction, it will be worthwhile to monitor Washington’s final injury report to find out whether Robinson is indeed playing. However, it wouldn’t be shocking if he ended up having a strong day in his comeback to action for Washington.
