Los Angeles Dodgers: After the Dodgers’ World Series run, a highly regarded star announces his retirement
LOS ANGELES: Kevin Kiermaier, an outfielder who has won four Gold Gloves, is leaving Major League Baseball.

Shortly after participating in the Dodgers World Series celebrations on Friday, November 1, Kiermaier made his retirement announcement on social media, ensuring he ends on a high note.

Kiermaier participated in 34 games during the regular season and four games during the Boys in Blue’s 2024 tournament run.

After the Toronto Blue Jays traded the quick outfielder for pitcher Ryan Yarbrough, Kiermaier ended his career with the Dodgers in 2024. Kiermaier played for the Tampa Bay Rays for over ten seasons before joining the World Series champs as a defensive specialist. From 2023 to the 2024 trade deadline, he was a member of the Blue Jays.
