The Buffalo Bills are 9-2 and in the thick of the AFC East title as they go into their bye week after delivering the Kansas City Chiefs their first defeat of the year. With an average of 29.1 points per game, the Bills are the third-highest scoring team in football under Joe Brady. Brady’s “everybody eats” philosophy has also contributed to the team’s success, and Buffalo has risen to prominence in the last month. One might argue that the Bills are happy with their performance through 11 games going into the bye week,

as the offense has scored 30 points or more in five consecutive games. Brady, however, has explained that this week is all about recovering. “It’s an opportunity to take a step back and look back at what you’ve done, tendencies, things that you’ve gotten away from, or good schemes or stuff that you got to get back to,” Brady stated. “Really, we do a wonderful job of staying on top of things, but you get a chance during an open week to take stock, consider it, and create a strategy for where we want to go right now. However, it was going to be the same strategy regardless of

the victory [against the Chiefs], and we need to figure out how to keep improving. Hopefully, we can do that this week.”
