Gregg Popovich, the coach of the San Antonio Spurs, gives Victor Wembanyama a powerful message following their victory over the Warriors.
To put that in perspective, Green’s height is 6-foot-6. Wembanyama is practically ahead of him. Given that he has spent almost his whole career fighting stronger opponents, Green is undoubtedly accustomed to this. Despite this, he has hardly ever faced a player with that kind of size advantage, particularly one with Wembanyama’s skill set.
Despite his somewhat ineffective 9-of-21 shooting effort, Wembanyama managed to score 25 points and dish out nine assists in this game. What will matter most to him is that the Spurs won 104-94.
