Good news! Today, Clemson added the top 50 quarterbacks to their ’25 recruiting class. Do You Think The Term Will Get Better With The Addition?
Chris Denson announced his intention to switch from Coastal Carolina on Tuesday, adding a quarterback to Clemson’s 2025 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound player from Florida’s Plant City High School has not yet visited Clemson’s campus after committing to the Chanticleers in April. Since Blake Hebert’s decommitment last month, Tigers coach Dabo Swinney has been pushing to flip Denson in recent weeks.
On3.com quoted Denson as saying, “I just feel like my development will be through the roof,” in reference to his desire to change. “Playing under one of the best coaches in the country and knowing that I haven’t reached my potential yet, I know that they will take me to that level.”
Denson, a three-star recruit, is rated by the 247 Composite as the 50th best quarterback in the country. According to The Greenville News, he is the 14th athlete to pledge to the Tigers, who have also had six players leave this cycle.
“What makes Clemson special is just the level of ball that they are playing at,” Denson stated. “As well as how they compete. Since I’m a fierce competitor, I want to be around people and places like that.”
