The ACC Championship game pits the Clemson football team against SMU; a victory would guarantee both the conference title and an automatic bid to the College Football Playoffs. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Clemson football head coach Dabo Swinney expressed optimism about the team’s prospects of qualifying for and winning the 12-team tournament.

Although Swinney’s Tigers teams have won the national title twice in 2016 and 2018, it would be more amazing if they could pull it off this year because they wouldn’t be a highly ranked team. But according to Chapel Fowler, Swinney would question, “Why not?” regarding their chances and claim that they would be the first team with three losses to win the championship.

“For example, why not? It’s only football, after all. We have several talented football players. “You just need to win the game you’re playing,” Swinney stated. “Why not? You know, if you’re lucky enough to win this game, you’ll earn a ticket to Willy Wonka’s factory, therefore someone is going to win it. You get to participate in the competition and ride the magic elevator, you know. Therefore, everything is possible if we are lucky enough to win this game and obtain that chance. Anything is possible. We may be the first three-loss team, but I believe we were the first 15-0 team and the national championship team. That might annoy some people, boy.

The Clemson football team is now rated 17th in the nation, and as previously said, even if they were to win the ACC championship game, they would probably be among the lower-ranked teams since they may be at the committee’s mercy. Swinney would however state that he is “proud” of the degree of “consistency” his team has endured, which is accurate given that they will be competing for the conference championship for the eighth consecutive season.

individuals. God, you all need to retract a lot of the things you say on a daily basis. You folks would be really disappointed, but why not? Why not?
