Jake DeBrusk of the Canucks decides whether to stay at the club or leave after Saturday’s contract deal.

Vancouver, British Columbia is hosting Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” for the weekend, and Saturday was the second show of the three-night stay. The Vancouver Canucks players’ only chance to see the singer-songwriter’s world tour was on Saturday night. Just as the “Eras Tour” comes to an end, the Canucks will visit the Tampa Bay Lightning on Sunday after playing a home game at Rogers Arena on Friday, which coincided with Swift’s debut performance at BC Place. Jake DeBrusk, the Canucks’ biggest Swiftie, wasn’t sure if he would go to the event on Saturday. This time, the seasoned winger struggled to defend the cost of entry, despite his desire to see the “Bad Blood” singer again. DeBrusk stated on Thursday, “I wish I could go to this one, but the tickets are just so insane,” according to David Quadrelli of Canucks Army. “At least in Boston, I was there for a couple of years, so I had people help me out to get some tickets.”

DeBrusk appeared to be quite sure of his choice, but that was on Thursday, and things may change drastically in two days. On Saturday night, it appears like the 28-year-old Canucks winger has had a change of heart. Before Swift’s second “Eras” event, DeBrusk was seen outside BC Place, according to an Instagram story shared by girlfriend Mia Voyatzis. Although the original story is confidential, the screen capture below was given by X user @Ith1nkh3knows. The caption said, “Biggest Swiftie I know,” as Voyatzis put it.
