In an Instagram broadcast on Friday, NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss informed followers that he had been diagnosed with cancer.

In the video, Moss claimed to be a “cancer survivor,” adding that he had surgery and spent six days in the hospital. He expressed gratitude to his medical staff and everyone who prayed for him.

When Moss remarked, “I am a cancer survivor,” “Some trying times, but we made it through.”

According to Moss, his bile duct was discovered to have cancer “right between the pancreas and the liver.”

Moss was confirmed to be leaving away from ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” for an extended time to focus on a personal health struggle earlier in December in a statement from ESPN.

At the beginning of the broadcast on December 1, Moss gave a brief talk on the subject. Randy has been a vital team player for almost 10 years, always improving “Countdown” with his enthusiasm and wisdom. “We look forward to welcoming him back when he is ready, and he has our full support,” ESPN stated in a statement.

Moss said last week that he was dealing with a medical condition.
