BREAKING NEWS: Just In 5 Star QB Pens Heartfelt Message Why He Reject Contract Offer And He Can’t Continue At The Club Again Following The Statement From Board Officials

Just before last weekend’s College Football Playoff games kicked off, a report from ESPN suggested Georgia quarterback Carson Beck wasn’t likely to return for the team’s game against Notre Dame. The report said Beck was considering options for surgery and hadn’t even practiced with the Bulldogs after suffering an injury to his throwing arm in the SEC title game against Texas. Fast forward a few days and Georgia has made its final decision on quarterback Carson Beck. In an official statement released to reporters, the Bulldogs announced Beck underwent surgery on Monday and won’t be back for the College Football Playoff. “Carson Beck underwent successful surgery Monday on his right elbow to repair his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), performed by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles, Ca. According to Radi Nabulsi, who cited a Georgia source, “a full recovery is expected with throwing to begin spring of 2025.”

Just last week, ESPN’s Mike Greenberg asked Paul Finebaum if losing Carson Beck for the season meant the end of the road for Georgia’s title hopes. “It does not, they’ve been prepared for this since the end of the SEC Championship Game. They knew Gunner Stockton would end up being their quarterback in the Sugar Bowl in two weeks. I think they’re okay, Greeny,” Finebaum said of the Bulldogs. After coming off the bench in the SEC title game, Stockton propelled the Bulldogs to an overtime comeback win, completing 12-of-16 passes for 71 yards with one interception. Just last week head coach Kirby Smart made it plain the squad had to have Stockton prepared to play. “I think his strengths are somewhat different than Carson’s, obviously,” he remarked. “But we’ve known that. There’s not a game we don’t go into that we don’t have a strategy for Gunner if he were to have to play. I mean, when he’s your backup quarterback, he’s got to be ready to play.” Georgia and Notre Dame begin off on New Year’s Day.
