As the NBA trade deadline approaches, the Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly eyeing a potential move for Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma. With championship aspirations in mind, the Bucks could see Kuzma as the missing piece to bolster their roster for a deep playoff run.
Why the Bucks Are Interested in Kuzma
The 28-year-old forward is in the first year of a four-year, $90 million deal ($23 million this season) and is averaging strong numbers for a struggling Wizards team. His ability to score in isolation, stretch the floor, and defend multiple positions makes him an attractive target for Milwaukee, which has been seeking depth behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.
While the Bucks boast one of the league’s top offenses, their defense has regressed this season. Kuzma’s size (6-foot-9) and versatility could help shore up their wing defense while also providing an offensive boost alongside Damian Lillard.

Milwaukee faces challenges in crafting a deal, as their trade assets are limited following last summer’s blockbuster acquisition of Lillard.
