BREAKING NEWS:Alabama Women’s Tennis Secures Dominant Sweep Over Ole Miss

Alabama women’s tennis team delivered a commanding performance Sunday, blanking Ole Miss 7-0 at the University of Alabama Tennis Stadium. With this victory, the Crimson Tide improves to 9-4 overall and 3-2 in SEC play, marking their ninth win of the season.

The match began with Alabama asserting control in doubles, swiftly claiming the opening point. Momentum carried into singles play, where the team dominated across the board. Highlighting the day was NC State transfer Sara Nayar, typically a doubles specialist, who secured her first singles victory for Alabama with a decisive 6-0, 6-1 win over Anaelle Leclercq.

The Crimson Tide will look to build on this momentum as they host Auburn on Friday, March 14, followed by a showdown with Florida on Sunday, March 16.
