JUST IN:Nottingham Forest Set Price for Morgan Gibbs-White Amid Arsenal & Liverpool Interest

Nottingham Forest are preparing for summer bids for Morgan Gibbs-White, with several top clubs showing interest, according to Caught Offside.

Arsenal and Liverpool are leading the race, while Tottenham and Manchester City are also keen on signing the midfielder. With Forest needing to comply with PSR regulations, they may have to sell a key player.

However, reports suggesting Forest would accept around £50 million for Gibbs-White seem doubtful. Since Wolves are set to receive the full £42.5 million transfer fee, including add-ons, selling him for a minimal £8 million profit appears unrealistic.

Forest want to extend Gibbs-White’s contract, and with 40 goal contributions to his name, a £50 million valuation simply doesn’t add up.

Former England international Stuart Pearce previously called Gibbs-White ‘fantastic,’ and his performances have been crucial in establishing Forest as a strong Premier League side.

While losing him would be a big blow, Forest may eventually have to make financial decisions. However, qualifying for the Champions League could help them keep their top talent.

Selling him for the reported price makes little sense. In reality, any club wanting to sign Gibbs-White would likely need to offer at least £70 million, given his influence at Forest.

Hopefully, Forest can resist interest from rival clubs—proof of just how well they are performing this season.
