The Memphis Grizzlies have officially parted ways with head coach Taylor Jenkins, the team announced on Friday. Jenkins was in his sixth season with the franchise, leading Memphis to a 44-29 record and a fifth-place standing in the Western Conference as the season nears its conclusion.
General manager Zach Kleiman expressed appreciation for Jenkins’ contributions, saying, “I’m truly grateful for Taylor’s impact on our team and city over the past six seasons. This was a tough decision, given the steady development of our players and the success we’ve had under his leadership. I wish him the best in his next chapter.”
Jenkins leaves behind a strong legacy, having led the Grizzlies to a 250-214 record and three playoff appearances—soon to be four.
