DONE DEAL: Four-Star DB Reaffirms Commitment to Texas A&M, Cements Aggies’ Momentum on Recruiting Trail…

Texas A&M secured a major victory on the recruiting trail as four-star defensive back Jeremiah Green officially reaffirmed his commitment to the Aggies’ 2025 class. Widely considered one of the top prospects in the country, Green’s decision to stick with Texas A&M is a strong endorsement of the program’s trajectory under head coach Mike Elko.

Green, who plays at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas, is ranked among the top 15 cornerbacks nationally and top 25 overall players in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports. His 6-foot, 170-pound frame, elite instincts, and closing speed have made him a household name among college scouts.

“I’m 100% committed to Texas A&M,” Green told On3 Sports. “There’s just something different about the way Coach Elko and Coach Ish [DBs coach Ishmael Aristide] approach the game. They believe in me, and I believe in them. I want to help bring a championship to Aggieland.”

Green had recently drawn renewed interest from SEC rivals, including LSU and Arkansas, but never wavered in his belief that Texas A&M was the right fit. His recommitment is seen as a cornerstone moment for the Aggies’ 2025 cycle.

“Locking in a player of Green’s caliber helps set the tone for the rest of the class,” a Texas A&M recruiting staffer told Rivals. “He’s not just a great athlete — he’s a leader. And other top prospects pay attention to that.”
