JUST IN: Nottingham Forest Star Sends Stunning Message Amid Champions League Push

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels has called on fans to stay hopeful and united as the club’s pursuit of Champions League qualification reaches a crucial stage.

Despite the recent 1-0 home loss to Everton—marking back-to-back Premier League defeats for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side—Forest still control their own destiny in the race for a top-five finish, which would secure a spot in Europe’s premier club competition.

With a full week before their next fixture against Tottenham Hotspur in London next Monday (8pm kick-off), the Reds will look to regroup. Sels emphasized the vital role the supporters have played throughout the season and urged them to continue standing behind the team during this pivotal stretch.

“We’ve already given a lot to the fans this season. Expectations are high now, but we need to enjoy this moment together,” said the Belgian shot-stopper after the final whistle at the City Ground.

“This is football. We’ll need the fans again—now more than ever. Their support has brought us this far.

“We ask them to keep pushing with us until the very end. Just getting to this position is already an achievement. Let’s enjoy it and give everything we’ve got to finish as high as possible.”
