Lorde Haus made a fashionable appearance courtside at a New York Knicks game, sporting a bold striped Balenciaga polo. The singer, currently in town ahead of her latest single release, opted for a sporty yet chic look that subtly nodded to the team’s colors.
The Grammy-winning artist, who is gearing up to release her first new music in nearly four years, has been stepping out more frequently—including this high-energy NBA outing. On Monday evening, she was spotted heading into Madison Square Garden in a sleek royal blue Balenciaga polo, a hue that perfectly matched the Knicks’ signature shade. Though she skipped the team’s vibrant orange, her top featured coral-pink stripes, offering a playful twist on the color scheme.
Keeping the rest of her outfit relaxed, Lorde paired the statement top with dark-wash barrel-leg jeans and classic black leather flats. Her courtside appearance even earned her a feature on the Knicks’ official Instagram account.
This isn’t the first time the singer has celebrated new music with a Knicks game—back in 2021, she was spotted courtside shortly after releasing her third album, Solar Power.
New York has played a key role in her latest album rollout. Earlier this week, Lorde teased her upcoming single, What Was That (set to drop Friday, April 25), by sharing a TikTok filmed in Washington Square Park. In the clip, she danced down an empty sidewalk while the unreleased track played in the background.
