FULL LEONARD WILLIAM TRADE DETAILS: Giants Reap Full Rewards from Leonard Williams Trade with Seahawks…

It took a little patience, but the New York Giants can finally put a bow on their trade of Leonard Williams — and they came away looking pretty smart.

When the Giants sent Williams to the Seattle Seahawks back in 2023, they secured a 2024 second-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick in return. Now that both selections have been used, the final picture of the trade is complete — and it’s a good one for New York.

The Giants used the second-rounder to draft safety Tyler Nubin out of Minnesota, a player who made an immediate impact as a stabilizing force in the secondary. His arrival gave New York’s defense a much-needed boost, quickly justifying the investment.

This year, the Giants cashed in the remaining piece of the trade, using the 2025 fifth-round pick to select Purdue offensive lineman Marcus Mbow. Known for his size and versatility, Mbow brings additional depth and competition to the offensive line — a critical need for a team aiming to rebuild in the trenches.

With both Nubin and Mbow now in the fold, the Giants have officially closed the book on the Leonard Williams deal. And in the end, the franchise quietly turned a veteran nearing free agency into two young, promising pieces at key positions.

Sometimes the best trades are the ones that take a little time to fully appreciate — and for the Giants, this looks like one of them.
