After Sutton’s difficult first season with the Lions in 2023, some supporters wanted him to go. Davis signed Amik Robertson before the second day of free agency ended. The door was still open to add someone, either through free agency or the draft, and with Sutton gone, that concept has taken on new importance.

Drafting a cornerback may still occur, maybe early in next month’s procedures. However, the Lions should be seeking for an experienced addition, and these five appear to be a good fit.
