Trent Rendall from QPR has joined Braintree Town on loan, according to their official club website.
QPR have allowed the defender to join the National League South side on a temporary basis.

Rendall, 22, will be keen to gain gaming experience in the following weeks.

The Hoops have stated that he has moved to the sixth tier for a month.
Rendall’s transfer to Braintree provides an opportunity for him to get further experience after leaving QPR on loan.

He progressed through QPR’s academy systems and has appeared often at various young levels. He has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Championship side.

Instead, he has previously had loan stints at Eastbourne Borough, Gloucester City, and Eastleigh to help him improve.

He spent time with the latter earlier this season in the National League, playing nine games before returning to his original club.

Rendall signed a six-month contract extension with Micah Anthony at the end of December. His contract expires this summer, and he is set to become a free agent in late June.

The R’s have a major choice to make about his long-term future.

Meanwhile, Marti Cifuentes’ squad is totally focused on avoiding relegation to League One. They are one point above the drop zone.

They have an important game against Birmingham City on Friday after the international break.

Meanwhile, Rendall is set to make his Braintree debut against St Albans City.
