KERR CEMENTS LEGACY With 100th Playoff Win – But Warriors Fans FURIOUS Over Rotations

Steve Kerr is no stranger to success under pressure. With nine NBA championships—five as a player and four as a coach—his legacy as a winner is undeniable. That legacy grew even larger after the Golden State Warriors’ 95-85 victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of their series, as Kerr became just the seventh head coach in NBA history to reach 100 playoff wins.

Following the game, the Warriors honored the achievement with a tweet: “A HISTORIC milestone for Coach Kerr.”

While many fans celebrated Kerr’s accomplishment with praise like:
– “GOAT
– “Don’t always agree with this man, but damn, the numbers don’t lie
– “Legend”                                                          – “Congratulations, Coach Kerr

Others took the opportunity to voice their frustrations over lineup decisions:
On Gui Santos and Buddy Hield:
– “Tell him to stop playing Buddy Hield over Gui Santos.”
– “Suggest playing Gui Santos more.”
– “Congrats, Coach—best ever. But for the love of all things good, Buddy should get DNPs unless we absolutely have to play him.”

On Jonathan Kuminga:
– “Play JK—make it work if you’re really that great of a coach.”
– “How about including Kuminga in the rotation?
– “Perhaps JK in Game 2, Coach?

Whether Kerr will adjust his rotations to feature more of Santos and Kuminga—or stick with Buddy Hield—remains to be seen. But with this being just Game 1, his full strategy has yet to unfold.

As the series heats up against Ime Udoka and the Rockets, the Warriors will need Kerr’s playoff expertise more than ever.
