Gauff’s devotion to her faith has been evident from a young age. Since the age of eight, she’s made it a ritual to pray with her father before every match. Now 21, she continues to read the Bible daily and keeps two journals—one for her reflections and another for scriptures. Her spiritual side gained widespread attention when she dropped to her knees in prayer after winning her first Grand Slam at the 2023 U.S. Open.
To mark Easter, Gauff posted a glimpse of her day on Instagram, starting with a touching Bible verse and a few simple prayer emojis. But the highlight came when she received a thoughtful surprise from her father, Corey: a bouquet of red roses, chocolates, and a handwritten letter filled with wisdom and love.
