Predicted Celtic XI versus Livingston: 3 Rodgers calls impacted by Rangers encounter, as plastic means three miss out.
Celtic are on the road this weekend to face David Martindale’s team.

Celtic are in West Lothian this weekend to face Livingston at Almondvale in the Premiership.

Number one remains between the sticks.

David Martindale’s team is doomed for relegation, and they require a massive upset today against the champs. Brendan Rodgers’ visit is boosted by the news that crucial midfielders Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate are on their way back, but whether they make it this time is another story.

The manager will be in the stands serving a touchline ban before playing the Rangers on April 7th, when he will return to the coaching area. Rodgers informed Celtic TV before Sunday’s game: “We just played Livingston. We were really good attacking throughout the game, but we gave up much too much for my liking.

The Canadian right-back has become a consistent performer for Celtic.

“So our approach and emphasis is to go out and play the quality of game that we want to play while not giving up too much in terms of opportunities and space. If we can do that, we should have a great day.

“Obviously, with Livingston at home and on an astroturf surface, they’ll be used to that. David Martindale’s teams are generally struggling and working really hard. We’ve seen it.

Here’s how Glasgow World envisions the Celtic XI.

3. Cornerback: Stephen Welsh

4. CB Gustaf Lagerbielke

With Liam Scales returning from injury and Cameron Carter-Vickers both having with issues this season, we believe Rodgers has both with Rangers in mind. Lagerbielke will get an opportunity to shine on the plastic pitch.

With Liam Scales just coming off an injury and Cameron Carter-Vickers also dealing with problems this term, we reckon Rodgers rests both with Rangers in mind. That'll give Lagerbielke a chance on the plastic pitch to impress.
