Odell Beckham Jr., a Baltimore Ravens receiver, signed a one-year contract during training camp, and now the focus is on his next move. Odell has made no secret of his passion for Baltimore, but football is a business, and whether or not he returns is uncertain. What about a deadline for deciding on his future? With the wounds from the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs still fresh, Beckham Jr. will take some time away to consider his future step.

Beckham Jr. was not anticipated to do much this season because he was coming off a second ACL injury, but after a poor start to his Ravens career, things brightened up and he showed signs of the old Odell against the Detroit Lions (5 rec, 49 yards). Beckham Jr. had a five-game span during which he caught 17 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns, with his four-reception, 116-yard game against the Cincinnati Bengals being the season’s highlight. After a decent year with the Ravens, Odell had one overarching idea about this season.
“To me, if there’s anything I felt about myself regardless of anybody’s opinion or anything like that is that I know that I can still play football and I know that I still have s**t in the tank.”
