In recent years, hundreds of people—some fantastic, some not so good—have had the honor of donning the revered Sheffield United shirt. Every Blades supporter has their favorite players, for whatever reason, as well as their boo-boys that they just don’t like, for any reason, including their performances.

We thus asked Blades supporters to rank the best and worst players they had ever seen play for their team in order to put it to the test, and we compiled some of the most well-liked answers. Who should have made the cut, and which of your favorites—or least favorites—are included? Please notify us through our Facebook or Twitter sites.

1. Ndiaye Iliman
Being one of the most skilled players to have worn the red and white shirt in a very long time makes him an obvious starting point. What a tragedy it was that we never saw Ndiaye in a Blades shirt in the Premier League, as suggested by the majority of fans who answered. Cameron Smith in picture

2. Jack O’Connell

According to @scuba178, who selected the center-half, “He was a CB who could do everything and then get down the wing like a wing-back and not only help with build-up play but get a decent cross in as well!” It’s hard to dispute Simon Bellis took this picture.

3. John Cofie

After scoring two goals in 18 games while on loan in 2012–13, the former Manchester United player was selected by @scuba178 as the worst player he has ever seen wearing a Blades shirt.

4. Billy Sharp

The pick of @Sufc_william_07, who is considered the best ever, is accompanied with a GIF of Sharp’s iconic goal against Bournemouth on the team’s first Premier League return in twelve years. Symbolic Julian Finney took this picture.
