The 19-year-old’s contract at the King Power Stadium expires this summer and he will be available for free transfer.

Arsenal agree 1st professional contract with exciting youngster Amani Richards

Sunderland and teams in Germany, Belgium, and Denmark are all interested in his services.

Richards is highly respected, having earned the Leicester academy player of the season title in 2023 after scoring more than 20 goals across all competitions.

Leicester’s attempts to extend his contract have been thwarted by his desire to play adult football.

Richards has started less youth games as his contract ends, but he has the greatest goal involvement in the Leicester Under-21s squad.

Leicester City are still interested in renewing his contract after stealing him from Arsenal in 2022.

The Foxes won the Championship championship on Monday, defeating Preston 3-0 to regain promotion to the Premier League.

However, after losing midfielder Trey Nyoni to Liverpool last summer, they will want to keep a strong academy team at their newly renovated training facility.

Nyoni became the youngest player in FA Cup history in February, at the age of 16 years and 243 days.
