Keon Coleman, a Buffalo Bills wide receiver, is quite the character who has already grabbed the hearts of NFL fans all throughout the league. He might potentially be the Bills’ new No. 1 receiver following Stefon Diggs’ departure.

Schefter asked Coleman about the AFC East heading into 2024, naming New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner and Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey as two quality players he will face twice a year.
But, aside from the Jets, Coleman appears to be unaware of who is in his own division.
“Now I really don’t know nothing about the division,” Coleman told Schefter. “Remind me, who’s in the division? I only know, like the Jets, don’t we have Pittsburgh, I believe?”
This resulted in a funny conversation between Schefter and Coleman, during which Coleman stated that he had no idea how many teams were in each category.

Coleman is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite NFL player.
Coleman, for example, boasted about his winter coat during his first news conference after getting picked and explained to a reporter how buying a coat out of season at Macy’s may save you a lot of money. Coleman stated that he buys his jackets in the summer and ships one or two seasons ahead.
And then there was the time he informed the Bills’ coaching staff about his golf abilities, referring to himself as “Tiger Wish-He-Could.”
You have to wonder how much Coleman’s contagious attitude influenced Buffalo’s decision to draft him with the 33rd overall choice in the NFL Draft late last month.
The 20-year-old began his scholastic career at Michigan State in 2021 and had a breakout year as a sophomore, catching 58 passes for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.
Coleman subsequently went to Florida State, where he played one season, catching 50 receptions for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns.
The Opelousas, Louisiana native is no burner, as seen by his 4.61-second 40-yard sprint time at the Scouting Combine. However, he is 6-foot-3 and weighs 213 pounds, and he has excellent hands. He also has a strong motor and, due in large part to his stature, excels at winning jump balls and making contested receptions.
Coleman will undoubtedly be needed in 2024, given the Bills lost their top two wide receivers, Diggs and Gabe Davis, this offseason. They have signed Curtis Samuel and, most recently, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Khalil Shakir is a fantastic addition. However, Buffalo doesn’t have a real No. 1 at the position for Josh Allen. The Bills have won four consecutive AFC East division titles, but with a better Jets team and the Dolphins on the horizon, things are going to get much tougher for Buffalo in 2024, especially after a difficult free agency offseason.
