Mutually agreed to part ways. Florida Gators coach now reveals four men, including a top superstar, who have left the club.

With the release of EA Sports’ College Football 25 video game just days away, the ratings for Florida Gators players provide insight into the team’s real-life possibilities for the next season. These virtual appraisals highlight not only individual abilities but also the Gators’ overall potential under head coach Billy Napier.

Defense receives a boost
The Gators have an amazing 87 overall defensive rating, which was unexpected given their problems on this side of the ball previous season. Cornerback Jason Marshall Jr. is the team’s highest-rated player, with an overall rating of 89.

Florida’s defense is strengthened by new and returning players such as Shemar James (84) and Asa Turner (84). Cam Jackson, LJ McCray, Tyreak Sapp, Kelby Collins, and Jakeem Jackson are among the Gators’ other high-70s and low-80s-rated players.

Offense with many emerging talents
The Gators’ offense has an 86 overall rating. Running back Montrell Johnson Jr. and center Jake Slaughter, both rated at 87, are critical in propelling the offense in the game.

Eugene Wilson III (86) and Elijhah Badger (85) are solid targets for quarterback Graham Mertz, who is rated 84. Furthermore, true freshman quarterback DJ Lagway, rated 80, has tremendous potential to be used in special packages throughout the game.
