Longhorns Daily News: Texas wide receiver reportedly found in possession of 40 pounds of marijuana today at an Orlando airport

According to documents acquired by AL.com, Agiye Hall, a former wide receiver for the Texas Longhorns who departed Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for Austin after one season, was found in possession of 40.3 pounds of marijuana in July 2023 while traveling between airports in San Francisco, California, and Orlando, Florida. In December of last year, Hall—who had one season at Alabama under previous head coach Nick Saban—was kicked out of the Texas program.

From On3: “In June, [Hall] pleaded not to compete. Monday’s trial was scheduled, but it was postponed when the court declined to make a decision. For the charge, the maximum punishment was thirty years, with a minimum of three years. Hall’s counsel made a petition to lower the $500 bail sum, citing mental health as a consideration. They included formal diagnoses of obsessive-compulsive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. The magistrate gave her approval.
