Ben Hanks Jr., a four-star cornerback out of Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington, is nearing the end of his recruitment. He has already gathered enough information from his five official trips in June to begin the clock on a possible decision. He has a notion of when he wants to make his choice, even if he hasn’t settled on a certain day to reveal where he would be heading.
“I’m going to commit, no doubt before the season begins,” Hanks Jr. stated over the weekend to 247Sports. “Definitely within the next two weeks, as we have a game on the 16th. Nearer to August 16th, I would say.”

During UF’s first scrimmage of fall camp, Florida’s head coach gave a detailed analysis of many Gators’ players.
Billy Napier, the third-year head coach of Florida, spoke to the media on Monday afternoon. This was his first time making public remarks since the Gators’ first fall camp scrimmage, which was conducted on Saturday in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
This is what Napier had to say:
“All right, let me congratulate Brandon Spikes and Ja’Quavion Fraziars on their recent graduations. That’s what we want for our guys, you know. We would like it if they arrived with a vision. We want them to start with the intention of graduating and earning a degree, stick with it through good times and bad, overcome obstacles, put in the effort, and complete the race. Obtain a position that will allow you to earn that degree. Thus, bravo to those folks. I believe that putting our athletes’ education first is a key component of our purpose. That’s fantastic to see those men do. We brought Inky Johnson here to address the team, and let me tell you, he has an amazing tale. We won’t hold it against him because he is a Tennessee Volunteer, but his mission is transforming lives, and he does have an impact. He also spent a lot of time discussing his mission, saying that it will take precedence over anything that life throws at you. Having overcome a great deal of hardship,
