For the Seattle Seahawks, Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy II DNP, and Ken Walker III limited
RENTON, WA – The Seattle Seahawks’ practice on Thursday saw limited running back Ken Walker III and no participation from important defenders Leonard Williams, Boye Mafe, Jerome Baker, and Byron Murphy II.

Walker suffered an oblique injury late in Seattle’s season-opening victory over the Denver Broncos, which has kept him out of the team’s last two games. Williams (ribs) and Murphy (hamstring) both sustained injuries in the victory against Miami, while Baker (hamstring) was out for last Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.

Prior to facing the Dolphins on Wednesday, Mafe (knee) was again kept out of practice.

Walker was not the only player restricted in practice on Thursday: linebacker Derick Hall (hip), tight end Noah Fant (toe) and Pharaoh Brown (foot), guard Laken Tomlinson (ankle), and nose tackle Johnathan Hankins (calf).

Furthermore, it was formally announced on Thursday that linebacker Uchenna Nwosu, who has missed the first three games of the season due to a damaged knee, did not practice. Nwosu was with the team before to the start of practice on Wednesday, but it’s unknown what he accomplished because the club was exempt from having to turn in a practice report for the Monday night game until yesterday.

Anthony Bradford, who has started the first three games of the season at right guard, was also absent from practice on Wednesday. In light of Bradford’s difficulties, head coach Mike Macdonald had previously said that youngster Christian Haynes will get more playing time this week as the club attempts to address problems at the position. But Bradford’s knee issue just makes Haynes’s chances of starting this week higher.
