Today, the Pittsburgh Steelers formally announced the addition of yet another important player to the team.

In the event that the Steelers are unable to get Davante Adams, Pittsburgh may mediate a deal with the Titans.

Everybody in Pittsburgh is closely monitoring the trade rumors involving Davante Adams that are emerging from Las Vegas. We are aware that the Raiders are open to trading the top receiver before the November 5 trade deadline. It’s no secret that the Steelers are looking to add to their receiving core, and Adams is the big fish that’s currently making waves in the black and gold camp.

Regarding the Adams story’s development, work is still in progress. It’s unclear when this will be addressed, but it appears like a transaction will take place eventually. The Jets, Ravens, Saints, and Bills are just a handful of the clubs who are expressing interest in Adams. According to rumors, the Steelers are making the most effort to complete this transaction.

There are rumors that Adams would like to play for the New York Jets. Reuniting with Aaron Rodgers is what he want. If a deal is reached, Adams will have to make do with wherever the Raiders sell him. The Steelers will probably attempt to concentrate on other possibilities if they are unable to add Adams to their roster. Adams isn’t their lone target because they are in dire need of assistance at the receiving position.

Treylon Burks is always an inexpensive receiver improvement that Pittsburgh might pursue.

Treylon Burks would not be the best backup option if they missed out on a possible Adams trade, but he might grow into something. Burks’ life hasn’t been easy since the Titans selected him first overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Through the first part of the schedule, Tennessee doesn’t appear to be a postseason contender, thus they could be open to trading certain players.

After this season, Burks’ rookie contract expires, and a team will have one more year to choose his fifth-year option. A career might benefit greatly from a change of environment. After hiring new coaches for the upcoming season, the Titans may be prepared to let go of some players from the previous administration. Burks might be a buy-low, high-payoff acquisition, and would cost nothing in terms of sending something back in a trade.

For the Steelers, DeAndre Hopkins is a very sensible trade target.

Pittsburgh might add DeAndre Hopkins to their trade board if they’re looking for a pure rental option. The aging wide receiver seemed to be slowing down a little bit. He’s expected to be a free agent following the end of the season. To obtain anything in exchange, it would be quite logical for the Titans to deal the “big name” receiver before the deadline. He would bring little value in a transaction.
