Atlanta Braves are linked to a projected $8 million power batter that is tradeable
This winter, the Atlanta Braves plan to make some additions.
Due in large part to their numerous injuries during the season, Atlanta had a poor postseason performance this year. The Braves must now figure out how to make their lineup stronger.
Who could they include? At this point, everything is conceivable. The trade market will also become more active as free agency approaches. Should the Braves become actively involved, it wouldn’t be shocking.
According to Anthony Franco of MLB Trade Rumors, slugger Taylor Ward of the Los Angeles Angels is one possible trade target.
There is a justification for moving Taylor, regardless of whether they want to make a temporary change or try to balance the Major game Baseball roster without using one of the weakest farm systems in the game.
“Since last offseason, the 30-year-old left fielder has been the focus of trade rumors.”
The Kansas City Royals and the Pittsburgh Pirates may decide to re-engage. This winter, the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, Braves, Toronto Blue Jays, and San Diego Padres are among the other teams who may seek outfield cornerback assistance.
In 2024, Ward appeared in 156 games with the Angels, driving in 75 runs and hitting 25 home runs. In 2022, he blasted 23 home runs, and in 2023, he hit 14 in just 97 games. In 2025, the 30-year-old is anticipated to make more than $8 million. He’s the kind of talent Atlanta might use, and a trade may make sense.“Ward,” Franco said.
