JiC said he would only quit when Martin St-Louis made the decision to do so in response to a question about when Martin St-Louis will be sacked.
Lajoie made a comment during an interview on QUB Radio that caused a lot of people to react.
He claims that Martin St-Louis and the Habs will mutually agree for him to step down:
“I’m not claiming that it will occur tomorrow.” However, it is untrue that he accepts loss to that degree. I’m not going to believe that. – JiC
But because of his connections to Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes, he thinks the Habs will never terminate Martin St-Louis.
However, that is by no means a guarantee that St. Louis will remain there indefinitely.
