Arnaut Danjuma’s season-long loan spell at Everton is set to be cut short after only five months due to frustration.
Danjuma has made three Premier League starts since joining Everton from Villarreal in the summer.
Danjuma had previously pulled out of a move to Goodison Park around this time last year after Tottenham hijacked the transfer at the eleventh hour.
According to talkSPORT, Lyon is one of several European clubs monitoring Danjuma’s situation, but any move away is likely to be contingent on Everton finding a suitable replacement.
Danjuma has two goals this season for Everton.
Crystal Palace have had multiple bids for sought-after Peterborough centre-back Ronnie Edwards turned down by the League One club. Danjuma has scored two goals for Everton this season.
Palace is one of five Premier League clubs interested in signing Edwards, 20, who is regarded as one of the best young defenders in English football, as well as teams in Belgium and Germany.
