Green Bay Packers: Talented Rookie Receives A Concerning Injury Update For Week 12….Cloud Be Without Him
At Lambeau Field on Sunday afternoon, the 7-3 Green Bay Packers take on the 5-5 San Francisco 49ers. The Packers linebacker combo has to be at their best against 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who has shown himself to be a superb scrambler with 37 scrambles this season, good for second place. With 267 yards on 51 tries and four touchdowns, Purdy also has career highs in running, attempts, and rushing touchdowns.
Regretfully, the Packers are uncertain about their star rookie’s availability on Sunday afternoon.
On Wednesday’s injury report, the Green Bay Packers’ second-round selection was mentioned.
Edgerrin Cooper, who remained healthy and did not show in any of the Packers’ injury reports from Weeks 7 through 11, made an appearance on the list on Wednesday due to a hamstring issue sustained during practice that hampered his participation. Cooper worked out separately with trainers on Thursday, so he did not take part in practice.
Edgerrin Cooper’s availability for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers is uncertain, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN NFL Nation. The Packers will make their final injury report of the week public on Friday after one more session this week. They will mark him as questionable, dubious, or out when practice is over.
When the Green Bay Packers play the San Francisco 49ers, they cannot afford to lose their best rookie linebacker. If he is unable to play, Eric Wilson, Isaiah McDuffie, and Quay Walker must step up.
It appears that he will not be available for Week 12.
