Announcement: Seattle Seahawks Coach Just Confirm The Injury Of Another Running Back And Could Be Out Of Season

Running back Kenneth Walker III, who gained 84 of his 103 yards after halftime, was a major factor in the Seahawks’ 26-20 victory over the Broncos in their season opener in 2024.

However, Walker did not play in the latter stages of the fourth quarter because of what was described as stomach problems. But when questioned about the injury following the game, Walker said he was well.

Due to a knee injury, they lost right tackle George Fant in the first half. Stone Forsythe replaced him and played the remainder of the game.

Fant sustained “a little bit of a knee” injury, according to Macdonald. I’m not sure what is happening. We will resolve that.”

Entering his tenth season in the NFL, Tyler Lockett is expected to be active for the Sunday’s season opener against the Denver Broncos.

Because of a thigh ailment, Lockett was labeled as doubtful on Friday’s injury report; nevertheless, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald stated he anticipated the seasoned receiver to play.

Both tight end Pharaoh Brown and outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu were declared out on Friday due to injuries, thus the Seahawks will be without both players.

Safety Marquise Blair, who was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday, is also in action. The former second-round selection will play for the Seahawks for the first time since Week 7 of the 2021 campaign on Sunday. Artie Burns, a cornerback who was also promoted from the practice squad, is not available.

Three offensive linemen make up the Seahawks’ five healthy scratches, which is not surprising considering that they maintained 11 offensive lineman on their 53-man roster—a bigger number than normal.
