Lions Coach Dan Campbell is now discussing his departure following the board’s statement from today.

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell said earlier this week, during an interview with reporters, that the recent Applebee’s commercial that debuted on Tuesday is not the final one he will do for the company. As promised, a fresh Applebee’s commercial starring Campbell made its rounds on social media on Thursday morning.

“We’re not just servers. During the 45-second commercial, Campbell made light of the excitement that was flowing through his coworkers at Applebee’s and encouraged them to keep going.

Although Campbell is the head coach of the Lions, he portrays an assistant shift manager in the advertisement.

“Since I’ve joined this team, our level of communication will be different.

Despite being a part of the ad script, the remark somewhat reflects reality.

Together with general manager Brad Holmes, Campbell has changed the Lions franchise’s culture since his arrival in 2021 by giving it an excessive amount of “grit.” Over the past several seasons, the team’s metamorphosis has produced little accomplishments, like as an NFC North division victory, their first two playoff wins at Ford Field, and their first participation in the NFC Championship in more than 30 years.

The Lions will play the Los Angeles Rams at Ford Field on Sunday to begin their 2024 season with the goal of building on their success from the previous year and making it to the Super Bowl.
